A Brief History of
American
Production
Services From serving a twenty year sentence in the music business as a performer and a songwriter, along with the inception of a then fledgling all-music TV channel called MTV, American Production Services president Bruce Moody learned the craft of communicating important message by combining images and sounds onto videotape.
Bruce left the music business in 1991, walked across
what he calls "a natural bridge", and started his own production company. The
change allowed him to get off the road, to spend more time with his family and to grow his
business. Bruce quickly formed alliances with area video production personnel and began to
produce corporate video. Today, American Production Services utilizes what Bruce likes to
call "state of the art people with cutting-edge equipment" to get the job done!
Bruce comments: "Producing a great SIV is exactly like producing a great corporate video. There are no secrets and there are no shortcuts. The
program must be well thought out and content driven if it is going to effectively
communicate its message to the viewer. A video is really about the process of
creating and telling a story. I learned a long time ago about the importance of telling
a story in a clear, step-by-step manner. Special effects and computer graphics are
wonderful enhancement tools, but they cant convey the full
message. A solid script
with a clear direction is the only way to effectively reach your audience." |
